Nagpur: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Sunday criticised Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's interaction with female students in Pune, calling his political stance hypocritical for preaching women's empowerment while opposing the Women's Reservation Bill in Parliament.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of an event in Nagpur, Fadnavis dismissed the Congress as a directionless party of "show-offs and loudmouths" who give speeches to remain relevant through television.
