A mum has been left raging after she was unable to board a bus with her daughter's buggy - because another passenger refused to move their doll in a pram.
Lexi Reene took to TikTok to slam the stranger who wouldn't budge in order to allow her to fit her young daughter's buggy on the bus.
The mum was left so baffled she took to social media to ask users what they thought about the bizarre incident, reports the Daily Star.
Instead of a grumpy commuter refusing to budge, it was in fact someone with a doll in a pram. The dolls are called 'reborn babies' which are hyper-realistic dolls and have an extreme likeness to an actual human baby.
Owners often treat the dolls exactly like real babies, as they can be therapeutic and aid women who have gone through infertility or miscarriage, among other reasons.
Lexi shared in the viral clip: “Point of view: Me not being able to put my daughter's buggy on the bus because someone’s reborn in a pram.
The clip has caused quite a stir with many people had some strong opinions about the situation.
One person commented: “I'd be annoyed, I understand people have reborn dolls for different reasons but at the end of the day they aren't real so should be moved.”
Another user blasted: “Nope shouldn’t be allowed.. they should fold the pushchair down and hold the doll if they want to take it on the bus, it’s harder for us.”
While a third person voiced: “I understand they have them for so many different reasons but at the end of the day a living child comes before a silicone doll.”
Someone else shared: "It actually happened to me when my little girl was a baby. They left me and my baby in the pouring rain for a doll.”
Despite the outrage of a doll taking a place over a real baby, some others felt that the doll had as much right as a human child.
One user slammed: “It's this arrogance that makes me never move for prams or push chairs on a path or for the bus.
"I don't think people should have dolls in prams on buses but just a message to all the mothers.
"Your child is NOT special and neither are you to be so rude to someone else because 'your child is real' give people the same respect you expect back.”
A second person wrote: “Some people have them because they cant have kids or other reasons. Please don't judge."
This user declared: “Not one bit of thought for the person who had the doll! This is why I’m so nervous about my child going out on her own.
"They were there first so why should they move or upset their mental health to please you? Get on the next bus!”
