Rag 'n' Bone Man at Cardiff Castle: Event times, parking, support act, site map and more

Known for his deep baritone voice, Rag 'n' Bone Man is coming to Cardiff on Sunday, June 25. The award-winning artist is joining an impressive line-up of performances in Cardiff Castle during 2023.

Rag 'n' Bone Man shot to fame with his first single Human and his album, also called Human, which became the fastest-selling debut album by a male for the decade in 2017. At the 2017 Brit Awards, he was named British Breakthrough Act and received the Critics' Choice Award and went on to receive a further Brit Award for Best British Single for Human in 2018.

The gig - two days after Queens of the Stone Age perform at the venue - is being organised by Orchard Live and there is lots to know including gate times, where to park and what you need ticket-wise. Here is everything you need to know:

Event timings

Gates for the event will open at 5pm with the last entry at 8pm. The event is set to finish at around 10:30pm.

The box office will be open from 3pm to collect tickets and is situated at the north entrance of the castle. The organisers have advised fans to give themselves plenty of time to enter the venue and arrive in good time.

Is there a support act?

There does not appear to be a support act for Rag 'n' Bone Man at Cardiff Castle. Orchard Live have given no details of any support act and TicketMaster has listed Rag 'n' Bone Man as the only artist playing.

Can you still buy tickets?

There are still tickets available to buy for Rag 'n' Bone Man at Cardiff Castle on Sunday, June 25. You can buy your tickets here at TicketMaster or here or at Gigantic.

What do you need ticket-wise?

Orchard Live has asked fans to have tickets downloaded before arriving at the Castle. No children aged under five are allowed into the concert and children aged five to 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

There must be no more than three children aged under 16 to one adult. There are two entrances to the Castle, North and South, and your ticket will instruct you on which entrance to use.

Are there any road closures?

There will be no major city centre road closures for the Castle gig however Castle Street is likely to be closed for one hour before and one hour after the concert.

Banned items

A fan pack from Orchard Live has stated the following as being prohibited from the venue:

Anything that could be considered a weapon.

Aerosols

Airhorns

Megaphones

Gas canisters

Psychoactive substances aka ‘legal’ highs

Paper lanterns

Glass items

Pyrotechnics such as fireworks, flares or smoke bombs. It is illegal for a person to let off a firework, flare or smoke bomb in a public place.

Umbrella

Do not arrive with any form of professional audio or visual recording equipment.

Furniture of any kind.

Food and drink into the event.

Food and drink stalls

A range of catering, offering a variety of street food and drink will be available within the event arena from the time the gates open.

General information

As the site operates a strict no-re-entry policy, once you leave the event, it is likely you will not be permitted to enter again. This is a standing concert and while there is no seating available, ticket holders are not permitted to bring camping furniture of any kind into the event - with the exception of medical aids.

Standard and accessible toilets will be available within the event grounds. With regards to drinking water, You are allowed to bring a bottle of water with you (that is less than 500ml), as long as it is unopened/sealed upon arrival.

If it can be helped, it is recommended to avoid bringing a bag. If you must, one the size of an A4 sheet of paper is permitted.
