Radisson RED has provided an update on the opening of its new Liverpool hotel as it prepares to start recruiting staff in the city.
The hotel brand is set to open in the revamped North Western Hall, near Liverpool Lime Street, in September with bookings now open. The launch was previously earmarked for the summer.
It is Radisson RED's fifth UK site, joining London, Glasgow and Heathrow Airport, as well as the likes of Dubai, Cape Town and Brussels globally.

As it prepares for the launch, Radisson RED Liverpool will host a speed dating-style recruitment event at the Empire Theatre on Tuesday, August 9 2022. The day will involve games, cocktails and a drag queen DJ set in a bid to attract "likeminded, vibrant people". It has also hired Sean Callaghan as food and beverage manager, bringing 15 years' experience to its team.

North Western Hall can trace its roots back to the 1870s and was most recently used as student accommodation.
