The BBC announced the first 13 acts in its Radio 2 Live lineup today, with some huge names set to headline the festival. Simple Minds, Nile Rodgers & Chic, and Kaiser Chiefs are set to be performing at the festival in September.
The partial lineup was announced on the Zoe Ball Breakfast Show today from 7am, with other acts including George Ezra, Olly Murs and Bananarama revealed. The festival will take place on September 17 and 18 in Temple Newsam Park, Leeds.
Tickets go on sale this Thursday, June 16 at 8am. A link to the purchase pages will be available on the BBC website on Thursday morning, so set your alarm early to get in first.
General admission is £52 each, with a booking fee of £4.50 per person. Children under two-years-old will be permitted to enter for free, but no one under the age of 18 is permitted to attend without an adult.
Enhanced tickets are also available, so that attendees can "experience the magic of Radio 2 Live in style". These tickets cost £110 per person, plus a £4.50 booking fee, and ticket holders will benefit from dedicated entry lanes to the festival.

Enhanced ticket holders will also receive a goody bag containing official Radio 2 Live at Leeds merchandise, a welcome drink and access to The Sounds Garden which overlooks the Main Stage. The Sounds Garden is centrally located between the outdoor Main Stage and Radio 2 DJ Tent with an exclusive bar area offering dedicated table service, luxury toilets, artisan catering units and screens showing performances from the Main Stage live.
Those with additional access requirements and facilities are asked to book tickets as usual and then complete an Access Requirements Form. This is so that festival staff can fully cater to individual access needs.
