SCHALKE is fancied to give Brian Hughes another winner in Catterick's Racing Again 9th March Handicap Hurdle (3.50).
The sportsman, in command as he pursues another jockeys' title, successfully teamed up with the selection on February 8.
That was the first time they had combined – and the Rebecca Menzies-trained Schalke won in great style at Market Rasen.
Although the winning margin was only four lengths, it could have been greater, as the hurdler finished the race strongly.
Unexposed as a stayer, the top weight has the ability to cope with a 6lb rise in the same grade.
Hughes is aboard another of the yard's runners, Kopa Kilana, in the Racing TV Maiden Hurdle (2.40).
However he may have to settle for a place behind Oliver Greenall's MONTE IGUELDO.
The French recruit was making a race of it with Hughes' mount Jungle Jack 18 days ago, when he blundered at the penultimate obstacle.
The winner looks a nice type and it was a promising run from from the selection, who can get off the mark in Britain.
At Leicester, FILE ILLICO can hold sway in the Royal Air Forces Association Novices' Handicap Chase (3.00).
Jonjo O'Neill's charge toughed it out for his Wetherby score on January 7 in first-time cheekpieces.
He defeated a next-time out winner on that occasion and this looks a good opportunity after a nice break.
