Racing Tips: Andrew Mount's Spreadex Analysis - Sunday, December 1st - Sportscasting UK

Leading horse racing advisor Andrew Mount contributes to various Racing Post publications including the Weekender and Racing & Football Outlook, plus the GG.co.uk website. Unearthing value bets via handy systems and statistics, he shares his latest thoughts with SportsCasting readers below.

The great thing about Spreadex is that offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences, of course, between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets.

Make the right call and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:

Andrew made a good profit with his buy of DOUBLE NUMBER OF WINNER in WISEGUY’s race at Newbury yesterday – market made up at the maximum of 22 – and he has two recommended bets/trades on Sunday, December 1st…

LEICESTER 12.10

EAST STREET, 6-4 at the time of writing with Spreadex, will be popular under a penalty in this 2m4f handicap chase after his easy Wetherby win just four days ago on his second start for James Owen. The first-time visor he wore that day may have been a reason for the improvement after he pulled up on his stable debut at Bangor in October, but it could also have been because he was returning to his favourite venue. Four of his five wins have come at Wetherby and his record at other tracks stands at 2731333P2PF5P6P (1-15), with the sole success over hurdles at Hexham more than two and a half years ago. His patient running style is not ideal for Leicester he rates a small sell in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market.

Recommendation: Oppose EAST STREET in Leicester 12.10

LEIECSTER 1.45

The hurdles course at Leicester favours runners who raced very wide, and Jack Tudor was seen to good effect on ACTIVIST over course and distance 13 days ago, staying wide despite racing up with the pace. David Pipe’s five-year-old ended up in the ‘swamp’ on the far side rail in the very late stages but had enough in reserve to hold off the late/wide closers. A similar ride could see him defy a 6lb penalty. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.

Recommendation: Back ACTIVIST in Leicester 1.45
