Rachel Stevens puts on a brave face in first sighting after Paul Cattermole's death

S Club 7 star Rachel Stevens put on a brave face as she was seen for the first time after Paul Cattermole's death.

Last week, her bandmate Paul died at the age of 46 just days after S Club 7 revealed their plans for a reunion tour.

His bandmates – including his his ex-girlfriend Hannah Spearritt – were left in complete shock and paid tribute to their friend.

And now, a week after his death, Rachel was pictured heading to Global Studios in London ahead of her recording for her Heart 00s Radio show.

She kept her head down and painted on a smile as she made her way to the building.

The star wore a cream-coloured striped jumper and baggy black jeans that she covered with a simple black coat.

She added a classic black Prada shoulder bag and completed the look with oversized sunglasses and black-and-white trainers.

At one point, Rachel looked up to smile at the cameras.

Earlier this week, the 45-year-old paid tribute to Paul in a social media post.

Her post comes after Jo O'Meara and Tina Barrett shared their memories of their late bandmate - who previously shared his excitement about the upcoming reunion tour.

Sharing a picture of Paul on Instagram, Rachel wrote: "Thank you so much for all your beautiful messages of love and support The outpouring of love for our Paul has been so incredibly special and has meant so much.

"I hope he knew how loved he was. Such a kind, gentle and sensitive soul with the most incredible energy and such a wild free spirit. He would light up any room.

"We are heartbroken but so grateful for the memories we all shared An absolute shining star who we will love and miss always RIP darling Paul."

A statement issued at the time by his bandmates said that they were 'truly devastated' by his loss.

A statement from the band read: "We are truly devastated by the passing of our brother Paul. There are no words to describe the deep sadness and loss we all feel. We were so lucky to have had him in our lives and are thankful for the amazing memories we have.

"He will be so deeply missed by each and every one of us. We ask that you respect the privacy of his family and of the band at this time."
