The Sweet Dreams My LA Ex singer fell on the ice during training and as a result has sustained a fracture to her wrist.
The Dancing on Ice spokesperson said: "Due to an injury sustained in training and on the expert advice from the Dancing on Ice medical professionals, Rachel Stevens will not skate in this Sunday's show.
"We look forward to her returning to the show next weekend."
All going well, Rachel will skate for the first time during the third live show on Sunday, January 30.
Rachel, who was at Dancing on Ice on Sunday, took to Instagram after the show to post: "What a fun first night on @dancingonice. I loved watching everyone and cheering them on, they were all amazing.
"So excited to get on the ice with my gorgeous partner @brendynhatfield …not long now!!!"
News of her injury comes after it was announced that Bez, who skated on the first live show, has tested positive for coronavirus.
However, with the isolation period now cut to five days and the Happy Mondays legend not due to skate gain until the 30th, it shouldn't impact his future on the show.
