The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board is to investigate Rachael Blackmore over her ride on Lady Rita at Kilbeggan on Friday evening.
Lady Rita was backed into 8/1 from 25s ahead of the 3m handicap hurdle at the Co Westmeath venue, finishing fourth and 21¼ lengths behind the winner Desert Heather (12/1).
Blackmore appeared to mistake the winning post a circuit early as her mount went from a six-length lead to fourth place shortly after passing the post.

Racecourse commentator James Griffin said at the time: "Rachael Blackmore just having a look over her shoulder, I think she may have mistaken the winning post."
Stewards at Kilbeggan did call Blackmore in after the race, but decided to take no action against the Grand National-winning jockey, stating that under the provisions of Rule 212A they could not be certain that her misjudgement, if any, had caused her to fail to obtain her best possible placing.
However, the IHRB said on Saturday that they are going to investigate the ride further.
