Rabbi Matondo is ready to fight for a spot in the Rangers team despite claims he'd been 'made available' for a summer exit, according to a report.
Michael Beale is currently going through a summer overhaul at the Light Blues and has already added five fresh faces with a sixth in the shape of Cyriel Dessers edging closer. The Ibrox men have recruited Sam Lammers from Atalanta in Serie A while Abdallah Sima has joined on a season-long loan to beef up the wide attacking options. Kieran Dowell, Dujon Sterling and Jack Butland penned pre-contracts earlier in the summer to make the move.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst moved to land the 22-year-old last year from Schalke and he still has three years to run on his current deal. Last season he only managed 28 appearances in all competitions with most of his game time coming from the bench. He did have injury issues in his debut campaign in Glasgow but got a run towards the end of the season.

Football Scotland claim the attacker is happy in Glasgow and is determined to battle for a spot in Beale's new look Rangers. It was claimed last week that he had been made available should any clubs be keen to make an offer.
A number fringe men are expected to depart Ibrox in the coming weeks as the rebuild continues. Big names such as Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent have already left the club after their contracts expired with the latter now a Fenerbahce player.
Beale is looking to add at least THREE more faces as he bids to end Celtic's domestic dominance and reach the Champions League group stage once again.
Speaking last week, he said: "Everyone felt we wanted new faces and freshness and we’ve got that. I’m pleased to say it won’t stop there - there’s maybe two or three more that we’re also looking recruit over the summer."
On exits, he added: "From November down our league form and points total was healthy but everyone felt we wanted new faces and freshness and we’ve got that.
"There will be one or two that move out. I’m looking for real energy, excitement, freshness and motivation to match mine and if that matches what me and the staff and the fans join then we’ve got exciting times ahead.
"Footballers have two new year’s resolutions - one before the start of a new season and the one everyone has at the new year so everyone comes in optimistic."
