A video showing a blue sedan dragging a motorcycle along a road in the national capital, with sparks flying as the two-wheeler remained trapped underneath the car, went viral on social media. Taking cognisance of the video, Delhi Police initiated action, registered an FIR, seized the car and apprehended its driver, ANI reports.
The incident took place at around 10 pm on September 17 on Africa Avenue Road, on the stretch from Bhikaji Cama Place towards RK Puram Metro Station. During the enquiry, police found that 21-year-old Tanish Tokas, a resident of Munirka Village, was sitting on his parked black motorcycle on the roadside when the two-wheeler was hit by a blue-coloured car driven by 73-year-old Venu Gopal, a resident of Vasant Kunj.
