Silk Sonic, the R&B duo of Grammy-winning artists Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak, are dropping into the world of Fortnite and bringing their silky smooth debut record along with them.
Epic Games announced today that the duo are not only receiving skins, but that they are getting their own in-game radio station as well. The skins are based on the band’s 70s-inspired outfits and vibes, arriving complete with various styles including a floral suit and a snug-looking shaggy coat. The duo’s record, An Evening With Silk Sonic, will be featured in its own radio station called “Icon Radio,” and will be hosted by legendary funk artist, Bootsy Collins, who not only named the group but narrates the album.
The radio station is currently live in Fortnite, while the skins will drop on Feb. 10 at 7 P.M. EDT // 4:00 P.M. PDT.

Players will have the opportunity to earn the skins, cosmetic items, and a spray of the duo early by competing and earning points in a Silk Sonic-themed tournament. The Silk Sonic Cup will appropriately be played by teams of two and will begin a few days earlier on Feb. 7.
When speaking of his inclusion in the game, Bruno Mars said, “When Fortnite asked me if I wanted to create an outfit for the game, I asked, ‘Are CGI muscles off the table?’ They said ‘no.’ I said ‘deal.’ I’ll see you on the island.” .Paak riffed on Mars’ answer, suggesting that, “When Fortnite agreed to give Bruno CGI muscles, I said, I’m in. He could use the help, so I support it.”
