Quote of the day by Zig Ziglar : We often pay attention to the things that affect us physically, but we may not always notice the effect negative words and thoughts can have on our minds. A discouraging comment, constant criticism or repeated negativity can slowly influence the way we see ourselves. Over time, it may cause us to doubt our abilities and expect less from life. That is the idea behind today’s quote of the day from American author and motivational speaker Zig Ziglar. His words offer a reminder that what we allow into our minds can have a powerful impact on the possibilities we believe are available to us.

Quote of the Day Today: Zig Ziglar on Protecting Your Mind From Negative Thoughts

Zig Ziglar said, “ The person who dumps garbage into your mind will do you considerably more harm than the person who dumps garbage on your floor, because each load of mind garbage negatively impacts your possibilities and lowers your expectations, " as per BrainyQuote.

Ziglar uses the idea of “garbage” to describe negative thoughts and discouraging influences that can affect the way we think.

A mess on the floor can be cleaned up, but negative ideas can stay in our minds for much longer. Constant criticism and discouragement can gradually make us question our abilities and lower our expectations of what we can achieve.

His quote reminds us to pay attention to the messages and influences that shape the way we see ourselves.
