Quote of the day by Javier Bardem comes from his view of acting as work rather than a position that should place someone above others. Bardem has worked in Spanish and English-language films and has received major awards, including an Academy Award. Yet his statement focuses on the work itself. He says, “Don't call me an actor. I'm just a worker. I am an entertainer. Don't say that what I am doing is art.” The quote raises questions about humility, hard work, success and ego. It also shows how a person can remain focused on the task instead of titles and praise.
