Queensland Police confirm Toyota Prado driven by Tea Wright-Finger found in bushland

The blue Toyota Prado that missing Richmond teenager Tea Wright-Finger was last seen travelling in has been found.

The car was located in remote bushland just outside of Richmond, Queensland, police said in a statement on Wednesday.

Ms Wright-Finger was not with the vehicle and police said investigators were travelling to the scene.

Ms Wright-Finger was last seen at about 3pm on October 16 in the Richmond area when she was dropped off by a friend at the blue Toyota Prado she had been driving.

A land and air search carried out soon after failed to find any sign of the 19-year-old or the car.

Police have previously indicated that the car was "fraudulently obtained" from Proserpine earlier that month.
