Staff members of the late Queen Elizabeth II have said that the monarch would "excitedly" take Prince Harry's phone calls when the Sussex's first moved to the States.
The Queen then became "perplexed" by her grandson's many "complaints", as claimed by the Queen's staff. As reported by the Mirror, journalist Richard Kay has claimed to have spoken to the Queen's personal waiting staff on the matter.
Writing for the Daily Mail, Richard said that there was no doubt the Queen and Harry had a close bond. He added: "The Queen's staff have told me how, in the early days of Harry's exile in America, the Queen would excitedly take his phone calls.

"Over time this changed and she later became perplexed by Harry's complaints."
This news comes as Harry and Meghan are scheduled to fly back to their home in California, after an extended stay in the UK for the Queen's state funeral.
Harry was seen during Monday's funeral as visibly emotional, as he said his goodbye's to his beloved grandmother. Harry followed behind the Queen's coffin with his brother and father, while his wife, Meghan, arrived at Westminster Abbey alongside Kate, Princess of Wales, and her two of her children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
The couple reunited during the service, sitting side by side for the hour-long religious event. Harry, dressed in a suit rather than his military uniform as he is no longer a working royal, held hands with his wife as they comforted each other while leaving the hall.
Well-wishers noticed the sweet exchange between the pair, and one Twitter user said: "I love how Prince Harry always holds Meghan close."
Prince Harry paid tribute to his grandmother last week, saying how much he had "cherished" the time he had spent with the Queen.
The Prince added: "You are already sorely missed, not just by us, but by the world over."
