Kicking off the Jubilee celebrations, the Queen was guest of honour at a special horse event to celebrate her historic reign - and all eyes were on her as she watched the proceedings with delight.
During the event, titled A Gallop Through History, the ITV cameras panned to the Monarch regularly, showing her laughing, chatting and clapping - and even touching up her make-up.
After a series of on-going health concerns, the 96-year-old looked in high spirits as she was met with a standing ovation when she took her seat in the 5,000-strong audience. She also provided several iconic reactions and facial expressions, including laughing off a joke by host Omid Djalili, who quipped about her missing the State Opening of Parliament last week.
And eagle-eyed viewers noticed her topping her up lippy during the two-hour event, and fans loved the everyday moment.
Whilst beauty magazines and etiquette experts usually suggest people who wear makeup should only reapply it in a bathroom, away from other guests or cameras, the Queen seemed unperturbed by the cameras on her and was caught reapplying her lipstick at her seat during the show.
She took the lipstick from her trusted black handbag, which she rested on her lap.
Referring to the unexpected moment, ITV royal editor Chris Ship told Good Morning Britain on Monday: "One of the photographers actually caught the Queen reapplying some lipstick halfway through the event, which... you don't see very often! The Queen is having a little reapplication of the lippy!"
Apart from the bright lipstick, the Queen kept the rest of her makeup neutral with simple eye makeup. She wore gorgeous pearl earrings and a silver dress with a complementing silvery-grey shawl.
The Monarch was just one of a collection of stars at the event, with Tom Cruise, Dame Helen Mirren and Alan Titchmarsh also taking to the stage.
Addressing the Queen, Dame Helen said: "For all these years you have carried our nation. You have been at its heart, its drumbeat. You have given us purpose and when situations have been challenging your hope, guidance and leadership have been unswerving.
"I address you on behalf of all your loyal subjects. We commend and admire the way that you carry out the affairs of state with such dexterity and poise. I therefore speak on behalf of a grateful nation and commonwealth when I give you our sincere and most loving thanks."
