A wide-range of projects were applied for and given the go-ahead last week in Nottingham. There were a variety of plans submitted to Nottingham City Council that made progress in the week ending September 2.
The two most significant were the approval of plans for a revamp at Queen's Medical Centre and plans being submitted for a city gym to get a new lease of life. Elsewhere, plans to change an office partially into a place of worship were greenlit, with dozens of jobs created as a result.
At two other sites, engineering works were planned at a former school site being turned into housing and a house was allowed to be built on a city street.
