All Premier League fixtures were postponed this weekend following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday. As a mark of respect, the Premier League took the decision to call off all 10 of their scheduled weekend games.
However, with the date of the Queen's funeral now confirmed, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur could all return to league action next weekend.
Here is everything football.london knows about the funeral, the plans of the Met Police and the Premier League fixtures of Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham.
The Queen's funeral
Queen Elizabeth II's funeral will take place on Monday, September 19, with the day being a Bank Holiday for those in the UK. Met Police plans
The Met Police told football.london: "Whether matches go ahead is a matter for the football authorities.
"If fixtures do take place, the Met will work with the relevant partners and ensure that appropriate policing plans are in place."
The Department of Culture, Media and Sport also said to football.london that their guidance would not change, and that the Premier League will decide if fixtures go ahead.
They said: "Our guidance will stay the same. There's no obligation to cancel as far as the government is concerned. But it's ultimately up to the Premier League and EFL to make those decisions."
Premier League schedule
Tottenham are set to host Leicester City on Saturday, September 17, with kick-off at 17:30 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Arsenal and Chelsea are both scheduled to be in action on the Sunday.
Arsenal make the short trip to west London to face Thomas Frank's Brentford, while Graham Potter's first league game in charge of the Blues is expected to be against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.
