Queen Elizabeth II has pulled out of an appearance at the State Opening of Parliament on Tuesday with a royal spokesperson citing mobility issues as the reason behind the last minute move.
The spokesperson for the palace said that Her Majesty has opted to miss the annual occurrence - which ushers in the new political year - due to 'episodic' issues.
The decision was made reluctantly on Monday, following a consultation with her doctors, The Mirror reports.
