The Queen will Lie-in-State at the Palace of Westminster until Monday, September 19, and members of the public may visit to pay their respects.

Famous landmarks along the route include the National Theatre, the Tate Modern, and the London Eye. The route will be manned by more than 1,000 volunteers, as well as stewards and police officers to direct people and keep the peace.

Extra toilets and water fountains have also been set up along the route as people expect to wait hours in queues, and St Johns Ambulances will have stations along the route to provide first aid to anyone who needs it. There will be dedicated positions for people with accessibility requirements at the Green Park side of The Mall, and the St James’s Park side of The Mall.

All the viewing areas are on one level, and people using these areas can be accompanied by one carer. Accessible viewing spaces are limited, and people will be admitted in order of arrival time.

Once the viewing areas are full, members of the public will be directed to Hyde Park, where the procession will be broadcast on huge screens.
