The late Queen's former dresser and right hand woman is said to have been caught in a row with other Palace staff, according to reports.
The fashion designer is understood to have become so close to Her Majesty that she was handpicked as part of a small team of loyal attendants who stayed with her and Prince Philip at Windsor Castle during lockdown, the Mirror reports.
She was Queen Elizabeth's personal dresser and was the creator behind many of the former monarch's most memorable and colourful outfits. She was also often pictured out in public with the Queen.
However, sources claim that on one occasion, a heated argument broke out in the Palace which caused the Queen's main aide to storm away.
It's been alleged that on the night of the Queen's 94th birthday, the monarch allowed her staff to have champagne with their supper. While some members of the team suggested standing up for a toast to the monarch, others disagreed and said it could be done sitting down during the intimate gathering.
The growing tension over the trivial decision reportedly ended in Kelly storming out the room, the MailOnline reports.
She also apparently did not see eye to eye with Prince Harry after an incident in which he stated that he hoped his grandmother was surrounded by the 'right people', which sources claim Kelly took as a dig at her.
Heated discussions also reportedly dated back to 2018 during a quarrel over which tiara Meghan Markle would wear on her wedding day.
Meghan was told she could choose between five diamond and gem-encrusted tiaras and after making her decision, she requested to practice wearing it ahead of the big day.
However, Harry revealed in his memoir Spare that Kelly ignored their messages about having access to the chosen tiara. He wrote: "She was being obstructive. But for what reason we couldn't even hazard a guess.”
The Duke later boldly states: "To my mind, Angela was a troublemaker, and I didn't need her as an enemy."
Recent reports claim Kelly no longer has a solid relationship with the Royals and took to Instagram to say she would be leaving a property on the Windsor estate.
She also seemingly confirmed that her work phone had been disconnected and that she would moving north closer to her own family.
It comes after reports stated that the aide was facing an uncertain future with King Charles now in charge as he is said to not be her biggest fan.
Kelly posted a picture of what appeared to be her garden with the caption: "Getting ready to say goodbye. I am moving at last to my new home which I will be able to call My Home at last."
