The Queen's funeral is to take place today at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle and a congregation of 800 people including the King, the Royal Family, and mourners from the Queen’s household past and present will gather in the Gothic church as Her Majesty is laid to rest.
It has been revealed that during the service, the Dean of Windsor will read from the Book of Revelation - the same that was read at the funeral of King George VI, the Queen's father, in 1952. The service will also contain a nod to Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, as the choir will sing 'The Russian Contakion of the Departed' which was sung at his funeral in April last year.
