A quaint cobbled street has become an "eyesore" that is "totally oppressive and depressing" residents have said.
Residents have spoken of their anger, regarding the street, which they said has been ruined by a 2m fence that has been put up. A planning application had been submitted to retain a nearly 2m fence up put around the car park at the rear of a day nursery on the corner of Kemble Street and Bond Street in Prescot.
Several objections had been received to the application by local residents unhappy with fence.
