Quacking time at Kirkcudbright Rotary Club's annual duck race

The Rotary Club of Kirkcudbright held its annual duck race on Sunday.

The weather was perfect and crowds of locals and visitors thronged to the harbour side to see the ducks race upstream to the bridge.

There were four winners, with the event raising a record sum for local and Rotary charities, and the club thanks all those who bought a ticket and supported the day.

Coupled with that, as the classic car rally took place in the car park and on Moat Brae, Rotarians manned a barbecue, bottle stall and coconut shy which added to the splendid amount raised for charity.
