A hotel in Qatar has spent £1m to cater for thirsty Wales fans, it has been revealed.

The Intercontinental Doha - The City hotel has hosted parties for Wales on both its World Cup match days and will again on Tuesday before their match against England.

As a result the four and a half star luxury site has become the Red Wall’s home in Doha, with Wales fans regularly taking over its six restaurants, bars and top floor nightclub.
