Qatar announces official holiday for National Sports Day 2026

National Sports Day

The Amiri Diwan announced on Sunday that Tuesday, February 10, 2026, will be observed as an official public holiday on the occasion of Qatar National Sports Day.

In its statement, the Amiri Diwan said the holiday falls on 22 Sha'ban 1447 AH, in line with the annual observance of National Sports Day, which is marked every year on the second Tuesday of February.
