NEW DELHI: For smooth movement between the main building and the additional building of the Supreme Court, Public Works Department is planning to construct a foot overbridge near Pragati Maidan.
According to officials involved in the integrated transit corridor project around Pragati Maidan, the Supreme Court administration had communicated to the department for providing a right of way for their staff, officials and public coming to the court buildings.
PWD, which is executing the project, has issued a tender to hire a construction company for the work that is to be done at an estimated cost of about Rs 9.3 crore. This FOB is likely to be situated near gate number 10 of Pragati Maidan, just beside the exit and entrance of the metro station.
