Putin has no plans to 'end war' as some Ukraine children left without power, food or water

Vladimir Putin has "no plans" to end the war in Ukraine, according to the French President Emmanuel Macron.

Mr Macron spoke to the leader of the Kremlin on a call, alongside German Chancellor Olaf Schulz on Saturday evening.

He pleaded with Putin to lift the siege on Mariupol, one of the heaviest-shelled cities of the last week.
