A sex offender's appeal of his "pure evil" convictions for the rape of two teen sex workers in the 1980's has been dismissed by Australia's highest court.

Theodoros Tsalkos was aged 25 in 1987 when pretended to be an undercover police officer to pick up two sex workers, who were aged 15 and 16, in the inner-Melbourne suburb of St Kilda.
