A devastated dog owner has taken to social media after her pet pup was savaged in a brutal attack, while walking at a Lanarkshire beauty spot this week.
Dionne McKeown has been left "absolutely heartbroken" for her beloved pooch Peaches, after it was mauled by another dog at Strathclyde Country Park in Motherwell yesterday afternoon (Tuesday, March 22).
The attack has left 17-week-old Peaches with several puncture wounds, a double elbow fracture and a potential amputation of the leg if the complex injury doesn't heal.
