Pupils at Olivia Pratt-Korbel's school left heartbreaking tributes on the windows.
Pupils at St Margaret Mary's Catholic Junior School left heartbreaking tributes in the school windows for Olivia. Olivia, who attended the school, was shot at her home on Kingsheath Avenue by a gunman chasing convicted criminal Joseph Nee. The nine-year-old later died of her injuries at Alder Hey Children's Hospital.
Hundreds of mourners lined the streets around St Margaret Mary's Catholic Church, just yards from Olivia's school, today, Thursday, September 15. Mourners were asked to wear a splash of pink in her memory.

At St Margaret Mary's Catholic Junior School pink messages had been stuck in the windows. One message marked her name while another read "love Liv". Pink love hearts were also seen.
Her classmates will not have to attend the service but will remember their much-loved friend in other ways, including saying prayers, painting their nails pink and watching her favourite film; an adaptation of Roald Dahl classic 'Matilda'.
Pupils at the school will also be wearing pink to remember their classmate, headteacher Rebecca Wilkinson said.
She said: “We were mindful of the fact that the children had to take some sort of role today, in spite of the fact that they’re not going to the church.
“The wishes of the family in church were that everyone wear a splash of pink so today in school the children are all wearing a splash of pink.
“We have got pink hearts in the windows facing the main road, we have got pink ribbons on the fence.”
Olivia was brought to the church on a horse-drawn carriage. The white coffin, with butterflies on the side, was topped with lilies and unicorns while teddy bear shaped floral tributes were placed alongside it.
A hearse with floral tributes saying "daughter" and "Liv" arrived at the church shortly before the carriage. Olivia's mum Cheryl carried a pink teddy clutching it tight to her chest.
Mourners, many with pink ribbons pinned to their outfits, were in tears as the cortege arrived.
In a moving eulogy, Cheryl said: "Liv touched so many people's hearts and was loved and adored by everyone. She will never be forgotten. I will never say goodbye but what I will say is goodnight, love you, see you in the morning."
