One punter placed a whopping €315,000 on Constitution Hill ahead of today's Aintree Hurdle in a gamble that paid off.
The Aintree Hurdle took place at 3.30 on Thursday with Constitution Hill racing to yet another Grade One victory.
And going into the race the British-bred racehorse was priced at 1/10.
Head of PR for Star Sports Luke Tarr said of the bet earlier today: "We’ve just laid a £280k bet on Constitution Hill at 1/10 in the Aintree Hurdle. While he is an incredible racehorse and looks unbeatable on all known form, he’s a price we are happy to lay at.”
The win meant the unnamed punter scooped a whopping €31,500 profit for their bet and total returns of €346,500.
