- New Found Glory guitarist Chad Gilbert has provided a health update following brain surgery to remove three tumours.
- Gilbert was hospitalised on 23 February after experiencing a sudden loss of control in his arms and legs, with a CT scan revealing the new brain tumours.
- The 45-year-old musician underwent successful surgery on 27 February, immediately regaining function in his left hand.
- He is currently recovering in hospital, stating his recovery has been “bumpy at times” but he is “getting stronger by the day”.
- Gilbert was previously diagnosed with a rare adrenal gland cancer in 2021, which later spread to his spine and lungs, and he resumed radiation treatment for a cancerous spot in his back in August 2025.
