LUDHIANA: The Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal on Tuesday announced that he will leave politics if a single shred of evidence of wrong-doing in the drug case was proved against Bikram Majithia.
He demanded immediate arrest of former DGP S Chattopadhyay for taking orders from a proclaimed offender in the Bhola drug case even as he asserted that former minister Bikram Majithia had been implicated in a false drug case by the Charanjit Singh Channi-led Congress government.
