Punjab: NIA raids house of 'gangster' Ravi Rajgarh at his village in Ludhiana

LUDHIANA: The National Investigating Agency (NIA) on Tuesday morning raided the house of an alleged gangster Ravi Rajgarh in Doraha area.

The police officials averred that NIA officials had come to Rajgarh village as it suspects "gangster’s" involvement in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case.

Police officials said that an NIA team reached the house of Ravi Rajarh, an alleged aide of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, at his native village near Doraha at around 5.30am on Tuesday. They added that before that the area was cordoned off and a team of Payal police was present at the spot.

Cops said that the NIA team took Sarpanch of the village along before they arrived at the house of gangster. They added that the team then started questioning the parents of Ravi and also carried out searches at his house.

Police officials said that the team left the house of the gangster at around 9.30 am. They added that NIA officials might not have found incriminating documents from the house of the gangster even as it carried extensive search there.
