Punjab: Mohali municipal corporation to build causeway to drain rainwater in phases IV & V

MOHALI: Waking up from slumber after four years, the Mohali municipal corporation (MC) has decided to construct a causeway to drain rain water out of Phase IV and V of Mohali. The causeway is to come up on road dividing Phase V and a gurdwara in Phase VIII industrial area.

Mohali mayor Amarjeet Singh Sidhu said as the work on laying of sewerage pipeline is underway opposite the gurdwara, MC has decided to construct a causeway as well.
