Punjab govt withdraws security cover provided to 424 VIPs

AMRITSAR: Announcing one of its significant decision, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Punjab has curtailed the security cover provided to 424 VIPs in the state including Giani Harpreet Singh, the officiating Jathedar of Sikhs supreme temporal seat Akal Takht.

Following the decision taken by the Bhagwant Mann-led govt, nearly half of the security personnel have been withdrawn from Giani Harpreet Singh.
