Punjab: Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi sent to 7-day police remand, quizzed at CIA Mohali

MANSA/MOHALI: A Mansa court on Wednesday sent gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, accused in the killing of Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh alias Sidhu Moose Wala, to seven-day police remand.

Bishnoi, who was brought from New Delhi's Patiala House Court on transit remand, was produced in the court of duty magistrate-cum-JMIC Daljit Kaur around 5am after a medical check-up at Mansa civil hospital and then taken to Kharar for questioning at the Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) office.
