MAJITHA: SAD(B) president Sukhbir Singh Badal and brother-in-law of former Akali minister Bikram Singh Majithia claimed that Bikram was allegedly implicated in the false case to prevent him from contesting the assembly elections.
While addressing a public gathering at Majitha, near Amritsar, in support of Bikram, Sukhbir claimed: “The aim of registering the case was to prevent Bikram Majithia from contesting the next elections. I appeal to the people of Majitha to defeat this conspiracy. It is not now your responsibility to contest the injustice done to Bikram. I appeal to you to work hard now to elect Bikram with double the margin than before", he said.
