Pune: Sharad Pawar inspects Metro work, travels on PCMC route

Metro Sharad Pawar Pune Bharatiya Janata Party NCP

PUNE: NCP chief Sharad Pawar on Monday reviewed the ongoing Metro work of the PCMC-Phugewadi section and also travelled in the Metro.

The state unit of the BJP objected to the test trials by Pawar in the absence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP’s elected representatives from Pune. Modi was to inaugurate one phase of the Metro rail on January 18, but his visit was cancelled due to the rising Covid infections.
