PUNE: Police on Sunday arrested Santosh Jadhav (24) - a proclaimed absconder wanted in an organised crime case here and whose name had cropped up in the killing of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala - from Mandvi in Gujarat's Bhuj district in connection with an August 2021 murder case at Manchar, off the Pune-Nashik highway, about 63km from the city.
"A Pune rural police team also arrested Jadhav's aide, Navnath Suryavanshi (27), for sheltering the wanted criminal at Mandvi," Maharashtra additional director general of police (law and order) Kulwant Kumar Sarangal said on Monday.
