Pune: Aditya Samant, 15, becomes International Master with home norm

PUNE: Aditya Samant doesn’t have his own mobile phone. The 15-year-old, who will be the FYJC science student soon, is not greatly active on the social media either.

The Pune boy completed all the formalities to be an International Master (IM) in chess after drawing with L Srihari in the ninth round of the Maharashtra Open at Balewadi complex on Monday. He is on six points and stands 16th (joint fourth).
