Jobi McAnuff believes David Moyes should be keeping this West Ham United squad in the Premier League but that it won't be easy.
The Hammers' 5-1 loss to Newcastle United on Wednesday evening was their heaviest Premier League home defeat since the opening day of the 2019/20 season, a 5-0 defeat to Man City.
The result left them in 15th place but only out of the relegation zone on goal difference. David Moyes' side have a game in hand over those around them, though that is away to Premier League hopefuls Manchester City.

"It will be a real tough one for those fans to take, who aren’t the happiest, of course, because of the season they’re having," McAnuff told Sky Sports. "I keep touching on it - style of football, it’s something they’re not particularly pleased with in terms of what they’re viewing week-in week-out.
"You can take a defeat, close-run game and you’re just on the wrong side against a really good team, but to just go to pieces - which they did in the second half - it’s certainly going to have them asking questions. I certainly feel David Moyes with that squad should be keeping West Ham in the Premier League but they’ve got a bit of work to do."
football.london understands Moyes retains the backing of the West Ham board ahead of this weekend's fixture against London rivals Fulham.
