Puka Nacua hasn’t even played nine full games as a pro, yet he’s already set multiple NFL and franchise records this season. He set another one on Sunday in Green Bay, this one with a bit more meaning.
With his 63rd catch of the season, Nacua now holds the record for the most receptions in a season by a Rams rookie. He passed his teammate, Cooper Kupp, who had 62 catches in 2017. Nacua, of course, has eight more games to play, so he could drive that number upwards of 100.
It’s been a dream start to Nacua’s career, putting together one of the best rookie seasons in the NFL so far.
Puka Nacua just broke the @RamsNFL rookie record for receptions in… <<checks notes>> Week 9.
63 and counting for @AsapPuka.
Previous mark was held by his teammate Cooper Kupp in 2017 (62).
