Puerto Rico Shadow Senator Zoraida Buxo is scheduled to address attendees at a rally in Allentown, Pennsylvania, organized by former President Donald Trump. This announcement comes in the midst of the Trump campaign facing backlash over a recent incident at a rally in New York where comedian Tony Hinchcliffe referred to Puerto Rico as an 'island of garbage'.
A Trump campaign official confirmed Buxo's participation in the upcoming event, emphasizing that the campaign is working to address the fallout from Hinchcliffe's derogatory remarks. The campaign has made it clear that Hinchcliffe's comments do not align with the views of President Trump or the campaign itself.
