The food and music festival Pub in the Park will return next year in a somewhat changed guise, and is to celebrate London’s booming gastropub scene when it pitches up in Chiswick.
Listed on the bill are the Grazing Goat, The Bull & Last, The Tamil Prince and The Butcher’s Tap & Grill — Tom Kerridge’s latest venture — with more to be announced. Organisers are said to be hoping to draw the Devonshire.
Kerridge, who curates the festival, will be joined by chefs such as James Cochran, who most recently opened his London pub The Brave, as well as Tom Brown, Sabrina Ghayour and Ben Tish.
Held at Gunnersbury Park from May 30 to June 1, the event promises to be bigger than ever. Special guests in 2025 include Michel Roux, Jay Rayner — the Financial Times’ new restaurant critic — and Grace Dent.
Alongside a line-up of musical acts — to be announced soon — the three-day festival will include food tastings from London gastropubs as well as conversations and live demonstrations from the chefs behind them.
The World’s 50 Best Restaurants co-founder Joe Warwick will also be on hand to champion the latest chef and pub talent across the city. David and Georgia Tennant will also be in situ, as will Sunday Brunch star Simon Rimmer.
Michel Roux said of the festival: “The London gastropub scene has never been better and is probably the city’s most exciting current food genre. Pub in the Park is the perfect format for celebrating all that the city’s pubs stand for and I’m very excited to be working with the team.”
Pub in the Park will take place on the following dates at the following venues:
