Psychology says people who can't stop smiling when they are in front of the camera aren't always trying to look happy: What the behavour reveals?

Psychology says people who can't stop smiling when they are in front of the camera aren't necessarily people who are always happy. Some people smile because they enjoy photographs, while others smile because they feel nervous or become aware that they are being watched. A camera can change how a person behaves because it creates a social situation in which the person knows that their face and expression are being recorded. Smiling can then become an automatic response. Psychological research on facial expressions also shows that smiles can serve different social and emotional purposes. A smile can communicate pleasure, friendliness, cooperation or a response to a social situation.
