Police in East Belfast found thousands of pounds worth of class A drugs at a property. It comes after a man and woman were arrested on suspicion of drug supply offence.
Yesterday afternoon (Saturday, October 29) officers from Belfast District Support Team (DST) were involved in a proactive operation targeting suspected drug dealers. As a result of this, DST officers arrested a male and female in the Holywood Road area of East Belfast on suspicion of drug supply offences and carried out a follow up search at a house nearby.

Approximately £17,000 worth of suspected Class A controlled substance was seized along with almost £2,000 in cash. Both the male and female remain in Police custody.
On Facebook, East Belfast Police said: "We will continue to target criminals operating in drug activity and ask for your help by reporting any information you may have to Police on the non-emergency number 101. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. "
